Portraits, Still Lifes, and Commissioned Copies
Your custom artwork in a few simple steps:
1. Submit reference images – Send one or more images that should be incorporated into your portrait, along with a photo of the person to be portrayed.
2. Sketch & Feedback – We will review an initial sketch or drawing, and if needed, adjustments can be made to the concept.
3.Painting process – Completion takes approximately three months. Before shipping, you will receive photos of the finished painting, allowing for final refinements.
4. Delivery – Your artwork will be securely packaged and shipped.
Pricing
The cost depends on your specific preferences, such as size, technique, and level of detail. For example, an oil portrait of one person on canvas or MDF panel (30 x 40 cm) in the Renaissance style costs approximately €800.
To expertly restore paintings, a deep understanding of various painting techniques and styles is essential. But for me, it goes beyond that – with passion, I take up the brush myself to follow in the footsteps of the great masters. This allows me not only to immerse myself in their techniques but also to create new works in their style.
I am particularly fascinated by portraits and still lifes. They offer me the opportunity to explore how fashion and visual conventions have evolved over time – and how the same person can be depicted in different ways to highlight various aspects of their personality. I also enjoy playing with symbols and attributes: a still life is not just a composition but can tell a complete story about a person.
